Ratings on audio and video quality are scaled A+ through D based upon comparative judgement. How the videos/cds were recorded and generation. It's very rare for me obtain or to accept anything lower than a C+ rating.
Pro-Shot videos are a professionally recorded concert with multiple camera angles, great close ups and soundboard quality sound. Usually the best quality shows, but not many of them out there.
An Audience-Shot is pretty self explainatory. Someone in the audience recorded the show using a tri-pod or just handheld camera from a balcony or elsewhere at the show. Tri-pod shots are more steady then just handheld. Although they are limited to one camera angle and the sound isn't soundboard quality, audience shots are pretty good with good close ups most of time unless noted. Plus most of the GN'R concerts out there are audience shots and they contain some of the greatest performances that we wanna see and hear out of Gn'R performances.
Soundboard quality found on cds and videos come from the soundboard running from the bands mixer. Obviously clear and richer audio.
